Job summary

PACE Supply is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative for the Waterworks Division in the Bay Area. This field-based role develops new business, grows existing accounts, and manages contractor relationships while supporting pricing and bids with internal teams.

You will conduct site visits, share market insights, and collaborate with Estimating and Project Management to ensure competitive pricing and successful project outcomes. Remote (in-market) options are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in the plumbing industry; 5 years ideal with 2 years inside plumbing sales.
• Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationships with key customers to deliver high service and trust.
• Serve as primary contact for customer needs, job-site support, and project coordination.
• Gather market intelligence and competitive insights to support sales strategies.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure pricing and availability.
• Collaborate with vendors to support product availability and competitiveness.
• Guide pricing with Estimating team to align with market conditions.
• Partner with Project Managers to meet customer expectations throughout projects.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings to review pricing, bidding activity, and strategy.
• Coordinate with internal branches for alignment and customer satisfaction.
