Job summary

Ergon Inc. is seeking an outside Sales Area Manager for the New England territory (CT, MA, NH, RI, VT). This fully remote role requires frequent travel, with a company vehicle provided for business use.

You will manage existing customers and develop new business for pavement repair materials and application equipment. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of outside sales experience (B2B/B2C), knowledge of government contracts a plus, and the ability to conduct outdoor product demonstrations in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Sales or Marketing or related field preferred, OR equivalent outside sales experience.
• Valid US Driver's license, and clean driving record
• 3 – 5 years minimum outside sales experience B2B and B2C. Government contract and bid experience a plus
• Minimum 2 years' experience in pavement or bridge maintenance industry preferred (or related fields such as construction, asphalt, concrete, chemicals, etc.)
• Previous experience selling equipment, or familiarity with construction equipment sales a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory management strategy to meet/exceed sales goals.
• Responsible for sales, training and demonstrations of all products under the direction of the Regional Manager.
• Increase sales and profitability of all products with government agencies, airports, engineers, contractors and new prospects.
• Maintain frequent contact with customers within the territory through visits or calls.
• Train and demonstrate products using seminars, presentations, start-ups, new product introductions, and test installations.
• Maintain professional relationships with all departments and vendors.
• If a company vehicle is provided, manage its use, maintenance, and safekeeping for business use.
• Complete required paperwork: CRM entries, quotes, bids, reports, and territory updates.
