Job summary

Ergon Inc. is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Area Manager to cover the New England territory (CT, MA, NH, RI, VT). The role is remote with frequent overnight travel and a company vehicle provided.

You will manage existing accounts and develop new customers for pavement repair materials and the equipment to apply them. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of B2B/B2C outside sales experience, strong presentation skills, and the ability to travel extensively, including demonstrations and training

Qualifications

• 3–5 years outside B2B/B2C sales experience, government contract a plus
• Proven ability to meet sales goals and manage a remote territory
• Valid US driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to travel with overnight trips; physical ability for outdoor demonstrations

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory management strategy for the New England region (CT, MA, NH, RI, VT) to meet/exceed sales goals
• Demonstrate and train customers on pavement repair materials and application equipment
• Grow sales and profitability by engaging government agencies, airports, engineers, contractors, and new customers
• Maintain regular contact with customers via visits and calls to satisfy needs and meet goals
• Coordinate product trainings, seminars, and demonstrations and perform start-ups for new products
• Prepare quotes, manage pricing, and track bids and market data
• Travel as required; manage vehicle use and travel arrangements; operate IT devices and software
• Complete required paperwork and reports (CRM, expenses, forecasts, etc.)
• Collaborate with other departments and vendors to support customers
• Handle field demonstrations and customer education sessions
