Job summary

Ergon Inc. is seeking an experienced outside Sales Area Manager for the New England territory. This fully remote role requires frequent travel and a company vehicle will be provided to manage pavement repair materials and equipment sales.

You will develop territory strategies, demonstrate products, and drive growth with government agencies, airports, engineers, and contractors while maintaining strong customer relationships and reporting via Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Sales or Marketing or equivalent outside sales experience.
• Valid US Driver's license and clean driving record.
• 3–5 years minimum outside sales experience (B2B/B2C).
• Minimum 2 years' experience in pavement or bridge maintenance industry or related fields.
• Previous experience selling equipment or familiarity with construction equipment sales is a plus.
• Insurable driving record and DOT Drivers Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory management strategy for NE region to meet/exceed sales goals.
• Sales, training and demonstrations of all products under guidance of Regional Manager.
• Increase sales and profitability across government agencies, airports, engineers, contractors and new customers.
• Maintain regular contact with customers via visits and telephone to meet needs and goals.
• Train and demonstrate products through seminars, presentations, demonstrations, and new introductions.
• Maintain professional relationships with all departments and vendors.
• Complete required paperwork: Salesforce, expense reports, quotes, bids, reports.
