Job summary

Follett Content Solutions is seeking an Outside Sales Consultant to cover the Southeast Florida territory. This exempt full-time remote role bases at $70,895 annually, with commission and bonus potential as described above, and opportunities to grow within educational markets.

The successful candidate will sell Follett's library, classroom, and digital content to K-12 districts and public libraries, travel within the territory, and collaborate with inside sales to maximize district-level wins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 5 years of Outside Sales Experience.
• Must reside within the territory; 60-75% travel (onsite at schools, travel within territory).
• 3-5 years of related sales experience.
• Solid presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with complex sales situations within a district sales model.

Responsibilities

• Contact current and prospective school districts and libraries to sell Follett content library and classroom, books, early childhood materials, digital content, and related services.
• Support current and prospective public libraries selling the full Follett portfolio and foster ongoing relationships leading to sales growth.
• Promote, demonstrate, and sell the value of all assigned product lines; coordinate with inside sales for on-site selling.
• Meet sales targets, manage call plans, and maintain timely CRM updates.
• Attend local/regional/national events, webinars, and sales meetings as scheduled.
