Follett Content Solutions LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Consultant for the New York City area. This exempt full-time remote role requires residence in the NYC territory and extensive travel. Base salary is $70,895 with commission up to $60,000 and a $10,000 bonus potential, plus comprehensive benefits.

The role focuses on selling to K-12 school libraries, public libraries, and classroom solutions, building relationships with decision-makers, and expanding revenue within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of Outside Sales Experience.
• Must reside within NYC metro area and travel extensively within assigned territory.
• Approximately 60–75% local travel expected.
• 3-5 years of outside field sales experience.
• Solid presentation skills and excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth across K-12 libraries, public libraries, and classroom solutions.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers and grow revenue in the territory.
• Prospect, develop, and grow new business with field activity and visits.
• Promote and sell Follett content library, books, digital content, and related services.
• Maintain CRM with activities, opportunities, and pipeline; forecast accurately.
