Follett Content Solutions is seeking an Outside Sales Consultant for the Tennessee/Mississippi/Arkansas area. This exempt full-time remote position requires residence within the territory. Base salary is $70,895 with $60,000 commission and $10,000 potential bonus; total comp around $140,885.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of Outside Sales Experience.
• Must reside within the territory with 60-75% travel to sites.
• 3-5 years of related sales experience.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Experience with complex sales in a district sales model.

Responsibilities

• Contact current and prospective school districts and sites to support selling Follett content library, classroom materials, digital content and related services.
• Promote and sell value of all assigned product lines, focusing on district level contacts and collaborating with inside sales.
• Meet established sales targets and manage communications via voicemail, email, and company correspondence.
• Attend local, regional, and national events, webinars, and sales meetings as scheduled.
• Coordinate with sales support, library service consultants, technical support, curriculum alignment, and management to respond to inquiries.
