Job summary

Follett Content Solutions in New York City is seeking an Outside Sales Consultant to drive sales across K-12 libraries and public libraries within the NYC territory. This exempt full-time role is remote, with travel required within the five boroughs and surrounding districts to grow the portfolio of Follett content library, classroom products, digital content, and services.

You will identify opportunities, build relationships with decision makers, and expand revenue through field activity,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 5 years of outside sales experience.
Must reside in NYC metro area and be able to travel extensively in the territory.
Approximately 60–75% local travel expected, including onsite visits to schools/public libraries.
3–5 years of outside field sales experience.
Solid presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Sell Follett content library, classroom materials, digital content, and services to K-12 libraries and districts.
Develop and grow current and prospective school districts and sites within the assigned territory.
Prospect and grow public library accounts, fostering relationships for revenue growth.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and forecast with accurate activity data.
Meet established quotas and contribute to revenue growth targets.
Represent the company at events, webinars, and sales meetings.
