Follett Content Solutions, LLC is hiring an Outside Sales Consultant for New York City territory. This exempt full-time remote position offers a base salary of $70,895 plus commission and potential $10,000 bonus, with total compensation around $140,885 at quota.

You will drive sales to K-12 school libraries and public libraries, build relationships with district decision makers, and manage a robust pipeline across assigned accounts with 60–75% local travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years outside sales experience.
• Must reside within NYC metropolitan area and travel 60–75%.
• Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills.
• Experience with complex sales in a district model.

Responsibilities

• Sell to K-12 school libraries, public libraries, and classrooms.
• Develop relationships with key decision makers and grow revenue.
• Prospect and grow new business through field activity and on-site visits.
• Maintain CRM data with opportunities, pipeline, call plans and next steps.
• Communicate Follett’s value proposition to drive the sale.
