Job summary

Unbound Recovery, LLC is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to join our Kansas-based team. The role offers part-time and full-time options with a focus on evidence-based eating disorder treatment, in a warm recovery-focused environment, and a mix of remote and in-office work.

You’ll conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, lead group sessions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Licensed as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW or equivalent in Kansas; clinical license preferred, but not required.
• Master's degree in a behavioral health field.
• Experience with eating disorders welcome; onboarding, supervision, and CEDS-track mentoring provided.
• Strong oral and written communication; collaboration with team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date counseling skills and build rapport with patients and families.
• Complete biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments with evidence-based treatment and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with the team to coordinate referrals and communicate with other care providers.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with outpatient goals and objectives.
• Facilitate group sessions with attention to group dynamics and therapeutic alliance.
• Stay current on evidence-based treatments for eating disorders.
• Implement creative interventions and homework assignments.
• Maintain licensing and CEU requirements; stay in good standing with licensing board.
• Complete accurate documentation and notes in a timely manner.
