Job summary

Unbound Recovery in Kansas is hiring licensed behavioral health professionals to treat eating disorders. Roles include conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing outpatient treatment plans, and delivering group and individual therapy in a warm, recovery-focused setting.

Part-time and full-time options are available. On-site and virtual collaboration is emphasized, with onboarding, supervision, and ED-specific mentoring provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field.
• Licensed in Kansas as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT (clinical license preferred).
• Prior eating disorder experience is welcome but not required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Compensation based on experience.
• Health and dental insurance, 4 weeks PTO and 7 paid holidays.
• Malpractice insurance provided.
• Annual CEU/training allowance for ED specialization.
• Hybrid schedule with both virtual and in-office options.
• Active collaboration with therapists, dietitians, and nurses.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and practice of counseling skills and build rapport with patients and families.
• Complete biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments with evidence-based treatment plans and discharge recommendations.
• Collaborate with the team to coordinate referrals to other care providers as needed.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with outpatient goals and objectives.
• Lead group sessions with attention to group dynamics, support, cohesion and boundaries.
• Stay current with evidence-based treatments for eating disorders.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and assign meaningful homework.
• Maintain licensing and CEU requirements and stay in good standing.
• Document progress notes, group notes, and billing forms timely.
