You will code professional fee, facility, or HCC cases, including same day surgery and ER-type procedures, using the highest specificity and current coding references. Strong accuracy and productivity expectations apply.

Qualifications

• Must be certified CPC/COC or CCS/CCS-P.
• Minimum 1 year of coding experience.
• Must have SDS, Outpatient surgery and Observations facility coding experience.
• E&M, Injections/Infusions and ED experience is a plus.
• Proficient with CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for 1–4 specialties.
• Code professional fee, facility, or HCC cases.
• Code same day surgery and observations.
• Code procedures typical of ER settings to capture revenue where appropriate.
• Apply diagnosis and procedure codes with highest specificity.
• Maintain coding accuracy and productivity per company standards.
• Adhere to AHIMA Standards of Ethical Coding and company ethics.
