Job summary

CorroHealth, Inc. is seeking a Coding Specialist to deliver CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across 1–4 specialties, including Professional Fee, Facility, or HCC settings. The role supports independent remote work and requires certification with AAPC or AHIMA and at least six months of experience.

You will apply codes with precision, calculate E/M levels via our algorithm, and ensure documentation drives appropriate reimbursement. Strong Excel/Outlook skills and HIPAA compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be certified through either the AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P).
• Minimum 6 months on-the-job coding experience.
• Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for 1–4 specialties and various settings (Professional Fee, Facility, or HCC).
• Calculate ProFee and/or Facility E/M levels using the company algorithm.
• Apply ICD-10-CM diagnoses to the highest specificity; code surgical procedures in ER settings where appropriate.
• Interpret coding guidelines to ensure accurate code assignment and reimbursement impact.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and security compliance and participate in training.
