Job summary

CorroHealth, Inc. is seeking Coding Specialists to deliver CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across multiple specialties from a home-based setting. You will support professional fee, facility, or HCC coding and must maintain high accuracy and productivity.

Requirements include AAPC or AHIMA certification, minimum six months of experience, and proficiency with EMR systems, Excel, and Outlook. A strong grasp of coding guidelines and privacy rules is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC CPC/COC or AHIMA CCS/CCS-P.
• At least 6 months of on-the-job coding experience.
• Must have a phone, reliable internet, and current coding references.
• Maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher.
• Maintain a quality score of 95% or higher.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for 1-4 specialties.
• Code Professional Fee, Facility, or HCC.
• Apply ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes to the highest level of specificity.
• Code surgical procedures typical of an ER setting to capture additional revenue when appropriate.
• Align conduct with AHIMA standards and the Company’s ethics and compliance program.
• Comply with all internal policies and procedures and participate in training/education.
• Maintain credentials through AHIMA or AAPC and protect patient privacy.
