Job summary

CorroHealth, Inc. is seeking a Coding Specialist to join our remote team. The role involves CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across Professional Fee, Facility, or HCC settings, with 1–4 specialties as needed. You will support clients by applying coding standards and contributing to revenue integrity from home.

The ideal candidate holds a current AAPC or AHIMA credential and has robust experience with EMR and billing systems, maintaining productivity and quality targets while working independently.

Qualifications

• All coders MUST be certified through either the AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P).
• Minimum 6 months on-the-job coding experience.
• Regular, predictable attendance required.
• Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems.
• Must have a phone, reliable internet, and current coding references (CPT, ICD-10-CM).
• Maintain productivity of 95%+ and quality score of 95%+.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; able to manage emails and calendars.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to coordinate, analyze, decide, and meet deadlines.
• May perform other duties as assigned by Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across specialties.
• Code Professional Fee, Facility, or HCC as required.
• Calculate ProFee and Facility E/M levels with company algorithm.
• Maintain high accuracy and confidentiality per AHIMA/Company standards.
• Work from home independently and support client needs.
• Stay current with coding guidelines and internal policies.
