Job summary

e4health is seeking an Outpatient Auditor to perform quality assurance reviews of outpatient coding across multiple client settings. You will ensure accurate abstraction of data in EMR systems, following ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, AMA CPT, and CMS guidelines.

The role emphasizes training, defect trend analysis, and maintaining a 95%+ accuracy rate while meeting productivity targets. This is a remote, full-time role with responsibilities across Emergency Dept., Observation, and clinic coding

Qualifications

• Must possess an AHIMA or AAPC coding credential.
• Minimum 4 years of coding experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of auditing experience preferred.
• Recommend at least 2 years of remote experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance reviews for outpatient coding.
• Onboard and train newly hired coding staff.
• Provide educational sessions on error trends and coding practices.
• Report quality results and track accuracy against targets.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy goals.
