Qualifications

• 5+ years of outpatient facility coding experience or auditing.
• CCS or RHIA/RHIT credential required.
• Maintains 95% accuracy in coding audits.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient facility coding audits using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS.
• Provide rationale with references and documentation locations.
• Stay current on regulatory changes affecting coding.
• Prioritize cases to meet workflow and resolution targets.
• Educate coders through the auditing process.
• Maintain professionalism and customer focus.
