Job summary

UASI seeks an experienced Senior Consultant Auditor to join our remote HIM auditing team. You will perform outpatient facility coding audits from a home office, applying AHIMA or AAPC standards and expert CPT knowledge to drive accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities include identifying audit trends, compiling final reports with actionable recommendations, and communicating findings clearly via conference calls and written reports.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ minimum experience performing outpatient facility audits
• outpatient coding experience
• Expert surgical CPT experience required
• Ability to identify trends based on coding audit findings and formulate final reporting including recommendations and corrective action plans

Responsibilities

• Perform coding audits on outpatient facility types while working remotely
• Identify trends from audit findings and prepare final reports with recommendations and corrective actions
• Communicate findings clearly via conference calls and written reports
• Support leadership with guidance and mentoring as needed
