Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC CPC/COC or AHIMA CCS/CCS-P.
• Minimum 6 months of on-the-job coding experience.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Proficient with EMR and Billing systems.
• Must have internet access and current coding references.
• Maintain productivity and quality targets (95%+).
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for 1–4 specialties.
• Code professional, facility, or HCC procedures.
• Apply codes with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS to high specificity.
• Document and justify coding for reimbursement impact.
• Ensure compliance with AHIMA/Company ethics and privacy rules.
• Maintain PHI security and privacy as required.
