Job summary

CorroHealth seeks a Coding Specialist to join our remote coding team. You will assign CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM codes across professional fee, facility, or HCC categories, following coding guidelines and ethics.

Requirements include AHIMA or AAPC certification and at least two years of on‑the‑job coding experience using EMR and billing systems. Strong Excel/Outlook skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC (CPC/COC) or AHIMA (CCS/CCS-P).
• Minimum 2 years of on‑the‑job coding experience.
• Proficient with CPT, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and HCPCS coding references.

Responsibilities

• Apply ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT and HCPCS codes with high specificity.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity to meet client expectations.
• Ensure privacy and security of all client information in accordance with regulations.
