Job summary

CorroHealth Inc. seeks an experienced HIM auditor to support claim audits and coding reviews for outpatient and ProFee claims. The role uses our PARA data editor and requires strong knowledge of ER, SDS, OBS, E/M facility, and I&I coding.

remote position based in the United States; 5+ years of direct outpatient coding experience and AHIMA/AAPC certifications are required. Excellent communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of current directly related experience in OP facility coding (ER, SDS, OBS, E/M, etc.).
• Expert knowledge in revenue cycle and outpatient coding.
• Certification required (AHIMA or AAPC; CPC-A not accepted).
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of HIM in preparing claim audits and recommending coding and billing changes.
• Prepare standardized reports using PARA Data Editor; review claims for trends.
• Participate in client meetings and respond to coding questions.
• Maintain current certifications and stay updated on coding guidelines.
