Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Outage Manager to lead complex outages for steam turbine and generator systems across assigned sites. You will own outage planning, execution, and closeout, coordinating safety, quality, delivery and costs while applying best practices and lessons learned.

This role requires strong project management, field leadership, and the ability to travel up to 50% and work holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering with 4 years in power generation.
• English proficiency required.
• Field Engineer or TFA graduate.
• Strong PM and planning skills; Primavera preferred.
• Proficient in MS Project and Excel; MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead outage preparation and execution for planned/emergent outages.
• Own onsite execution (site lead) with large teams; ensure safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Manage on-job cost tracking, productivity, and risk management (FMEA).
• Improve on-time delivery, outage cost, and productivity; update tracking files.
• Support project quotation with scope, site checks, and safety/risk analyses.
