Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an OSP Engineer to design and upgrade the Outside Plant telecom network, including structures and cabling, while supporting decommissioning tied to a retiring TDM switch. You will coordinate with internal departments, builders, property owners, and end users to implement effective, timely solutions.

You will price out options, work within a defined authority limit, and leverage CAD and MS Excel/Access skills to deliver reliable designs in a remote, nationwide engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience with telecom Outside Plant engineering practices.
• Familiarity with Telcordia LFACs, Switch LEIS and TIRKS.
• Proficient CAD and MS Excel/Access usage.

Responsibilities

• Design additions, upgrades, repairs for the OSP network.
• Work on switch decommission projects for the retiring TDM switch.
• Coordinate with internal teams and builders, owners, and end users.
• Price out designs and select cost-effective solutions.
