Job summary
A telecommunications solutions firm is seeking an experienced OSP Engineer. This role requires knowledge of fiber network design, project management abilities, and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will oversee fiber network projects, engaging with clients and municipalities. While this is a remote position, candidates must reside locally for required field visits. Additionally, experience in telecom engineering and knowledge of right-of-way processes are essential.
Qualifications
3-5+ years of experience in fiber-optic/telecommunications engineering.
Familiarity with road move projects and OSP construction.
Ability to read DOT schematics and permitting knowledge.
Responsibilities
Implement existing fiber network maintenance and relocation projects.
Oversee engineering design and testing of new fiber builds.
Coordinate project activities with external stakeholders.
Skills
Leadership and project management skills

Excellent communication skills
Detail oriented and organized
Knowledge of fiber optic engineering
Understanding of OSP projects lifecycle
Working knowledge of right-of-way property rights
