Job summary

AlphaGov, a government-focused consulting firm, is seeking an Oracle/PeopleSoft ERP Consultant for remote, project-based work with public agencies. The role involves supporting ERP pursuits, configuration, testing, and go-live readiness on finance, HCM, payroll, procurement, or grants modules.

Ideal candidates have hands-on SAP delivery in public sector, and can name the product and version delivered, with 1099 project-based collaboration and occasional client travel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP delivery for a government or public-sector organization.
• Depth in at least one of SAP public-sector finance, procurement, payroll, grants, or funds management.
• Experience with testing, data conversion, and cutover on an SAP project.
• Able to explain your work in a proposal narrative without overstating your role.

Responsibilities

• Support Oracle or PeopleSoft ERP pursuits and, when awarded, the related functional workstreams
• Cover finance, HCM, payroll, procurement, or grants modules you have actually delivered
• Plan configuration, testing, conversion, and cutover from the legacy system the agency is leaving
• Document interfaces to other agency systems and the data the agency must clean first
• Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to proposals only when naming is authorized
• Support agency user testing and go-live readiness
• Call out module or version limits before a proposal treats them as in scope
