Job summary

ANI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking an Ophthalmology Account Executive for remote coverage in the United States, focused on the Phoenix, AZ area.

You will drive physician and patient identification, market development, and brand awareness within ophthalmology and retina, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure access and patient care. The role requires 5+ years in rare disease or ophthalmology sales, field-based planning, and ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in business or science.
• 5+ years of demonstrated success in rare disease, retina and/or specialty pharmaceutical sales.
• Extensive experience calling on Retina Specialists, Ophthalmologists and Eye Care Professionals.
• Travel 50%+ as needed; ability to work evenings/weekends for events.

Responsibilities

• Drive demand through clinical selling and education to referring and treating providers.
• Build and execute territory strategy and account plans for Ophthalmology and Retina.
• Prioritize resources and time to optimize access and development of key accounts.
• Develop account plans for key physicians and maximize sales results.
• Cultivate relationships with physicians to maximize efficiency of calls and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Ophthalmology brand team and other internal stakeholders to ensure access.
• Partner with key accounts to drive patient identification and market development.
• Maintain highest standards of integrity and compliance.
