Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a motivated Ocular Specialty Representative (OSR) to join our regional sales team. This remote field-based role covers a critical geography in the United States, focusing on ophthalmology and optometry markets and driving sales growth through strategic territory management.

You will build partnerships with clinicians, stay current on managed care coverage, and use clinical selling techniques to provide value and influence patient treatment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, business or related discipline required.
• Specialty pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; ability to influence customers.

Responsibilities

• Use analytical tools to build territory business plans.
• Drive territory performance through prescribing growth and market share.
• Stay current on managed care coverage and communicate with providers.
• Use and refine clinical selling techniques to influence patient care decisions.
• Manage promotional budgets within the business plan.
• Visit ophthalmologists and optometrists per call plan and assess growth potential.
• Utilize available samples within FDA guidelines to maximize promotional impact.
