Job summary

Accelerant is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our growing Operations team. This role ensures smooth onboarding, contract management, bordereaux processing, and reporting with a focus on data accuracy, governance, and timely SLAs. You’ll collaborate with Data, Underwriting, Compliance, and Finance to maintain data integrity across systems, monitor KPIs, and drive process improvements.

Remote-friendly role open to candidates across the U.S. and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 5 years of relevant experience within the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of data accuracy, process governance, and operational SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational workflows across onboarding, policy administration, and bordereaux lifecycle stages to ensure data completeness, timeliness, and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Data, Underwriting, Compliance, Finance to maintain integrity across systems and processes.
• Support the centralization of master/reference data, ensuring consistent and auditable records across all operational systems.
• Monitor and report KPIs such as submission cycle time, processing duration, and SLA adherence.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance the member experience.
• Partner with internal teams to define and document SOPs.
• Leverage Snowflake, Power BI, and Excel to create reports and insights that inform business decisions.
• Assist in onboarding new members and contracts, ensuring alignment before activation.
