Job summary

Softheon is seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to oversee and optimize business processes in a remote-first environment. The role emphasizes operational excellence, data-driven decision making, and support for strategic initiatives across finance, sales, marketing, and product teams.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years in business operations, 2+ years in management, and a strong STEM background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field. STEM degree strongly preferred
• Master's degree preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in business operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial position
• Experience within a STEM field is required
• Excel experience required. Some SQL experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across departments
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards
• Develop and execute strategic plans for growth
• Analyze data to inform decisions and improvements
• Lead projects from planning to completion
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Collaborate with finance, sales, marketing, and product teams
• Conduct market research on healthtech trends
• Maintain documentation of processes and analyses
• Engage in hiring and mentoring team members
• Support in shaping company culture
• Be on-call for peak periods and occasional weekends
