Job summary

Soft source inc is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations, team performance, project execution, and stakeholder needs. The role collaborates with management to optimize processes, monitor KPIs, and ensure goals are achieved in a remote-first environment.

This fully remote position serves the United States and requires strong communication, leadership, and the ability to work with distributed teams. Location flexibility within the US; candidate must be eligible to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or related field.
• 2+ years in management, operations, admin, customer service, project coordination, or related.
• Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Ability to analyze information and prepare reports.
• Experience working with remote teams.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and align with departmental goals.
• Coordinate team activities, priorities, and workloads.
• Monitor performance metrics, deadlines, and KPIs.
• Assist with planning and improving business processes.
• Prepare reports and management updates.
• Track projects and follow ups to ensure completion.
• Identify issues and develop solutions with management.
• Support onboarding, training, and performance coaching.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across departments.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives from senior leadership.
