Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to drive Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement across multiple sites in the United States. You will partner with operations, supply chain, quality and engineering to deliver measurable ROI and sustainable improvements.

You will develop roadmaps, establish KPIs, coach leaders in problem-solving, and oversee cross-functional projects that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 7+ years progressive experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or operational excellence.
• Proven success leading Lean transformations and business process improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and drive change across multiple functions and locations.
• Experience managing large-scale improvement projects with measurable operational and financial results.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, operational metrics, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the operational excellence strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Partner with site leaders to establish annual improvement priorities, targets, and KPIs.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving workshops.
• Establish standardized improvement methodologies, governance processes, and reporting mechanisms.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to drive visibility and decision-making.
• Coach leaders and employees on Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Build cross-functional engagement and replicate best practices across facilities.
