Job summary

Tate Inc. seeks a Divisional Operational Excellence Manager to lead continuous improvement initiatives across the division, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to reduce waste and drive measurable gains.

Remote-friendly role with up to 50% travel to divisional sites, supplier locations, or customer facilities. Develop a Loss Deployment framework, mentor teams, and report progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business Management.
• 10+ years in continuous improvement, plant management, or Industrial Engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence, collaborate across levels, and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects across sites to optimize processes and reduce cost.
• Identify inefficiencies, quantify gaps, and implement Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen improvements.
• Develop and implement a Loss Deployment framework for the division.
• Track KPIs and report progress to the VP of Operations.
• Coach teams and develop a culture of continuous improvement.
