Job summary

Tate Americas is seeking a Divisional Operational Excellence Manager to lead continuous improvement across the division. You will drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen initiatives and build a world-class performance framework in a remote, global role.

You will mentor teams, track KPIs, partner with cross-functional groups, and report progress to the Vice President of Operations. A Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt and 10+ years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business Management.
• 10+ years of experience in continuous improvement or related roles.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects across manufacturing sites to drive process optimization and cost reduction.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
• Develop and implement a Loss Deployment framework and process for the division.
• Identify, prioritize, and recommend projects using loss deployment methodologies.
• Track the team's performance across all operational excellence pillars and present monthly progress to the Vice President of Operations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute solution strategies to achieve production and cost targets.
• Develop a framework to manage the division’s performance against a 'World Class' Operations Management standard.
• Track KPls to ensure the sustainability of improvements.
• Provide training and coaching on continuous improvement principles to employees at all levels.
• Develop a team of problem solvers that fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Manage and report on project timelines, resources, and expected outcomes to senior leadership.
• Foster a positive and safe work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
