Qualifications

• 3-10+ years of work comp law firm experience.
• Paralegal experience or law office work in workers’ compensation desirable.
• Strong analysis, legal knowledge, and drafting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and represent clients at workers' compensation hearings, ensuring all procedural requirements are met.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence, using precise legal terminology.
• Manage case files using case management software and document management systems such as iManage.
• Review and proofread all case-related documents to maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, medical providers, and other stakeholders regarding case status and procedural updates.
• Enter data accurately into case management systems, maintaining comprehensive records of all case activities.
• Assist with legal discovery processes by organizing evidence and preparing documentation for hearings.
• Handle administrative tasks such as filing documents electronically or physically within required deadlines.
• Maintain professionalism while handling sensitive information.
• Support the legal team with general administrative duties to ensure smooth workflow operations.
