Qualifications

• We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Hearing Representative with strong legal analysis.
• Paralegal or law office experience in workers’ compensation is highly desirable.
• Skilled in drafting pleadings, motions, and formal correspondence.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for document creation.
• Excellent proofreading to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Experience with case management and document management systems such as iManage.
• Attention to detail in data entry and maintaining precise records.
• Familiar with legal research techniques and workers’ compensation terminology.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.
• Strong organizational and multi-case management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and represent clients at workers' compensation hearings, ensuring procedural requirements are met.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence with precise legal language.
• Manage case files using case management and document management systems such as iManage.
• Review and proofread documents to maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
• Communicate with clients, insurers, medical providers, and stakeholders on case progress.
• Enter data into case management systems and maintain comprehensive activity records.
• Assist with discovery by organizing evidence and preparing hearing documents.
• Handle filing and administrative tasks within deadlines.
• Maintain professionalism while handling sensitive information.
• Support the legal team with general administrative duties to ensure smooth workflow.
