Qualifications

• 2–10+ years of workers' compensation law firm experience.
• Strong knowledge of workers' compensation statutes and case law.
• Proven ability to manage cases from inception to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of workers' compensation claims from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Prepare and file motions, court depositions, and pleadings.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers and other parties.
• Draft detailed legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and case summaries.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Maintain client communication and provide sound legal counsel.
• Collaborate on complex cases involving general & commercial litigation or personal injury.
• Manage case files with a legal case management system.
