Qualifications

• 3-10+ years of workers' compensation law firm experience.
• Strong analysis skills for legal interpretation.
• Proficiency in legal drafting of pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
• Experience with case management and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and represent clients at workers' compensation hearings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence using precise legal terminology.
• Manage case files using case management software and documents systems such as iManage.
• Review and proofread all case-related documents for accuracy and confidentiality.
• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, medical providers, and stakeholders on case status.
• Enter data accurately into case management systems.
• Assist with discovery by organizing evidence and preparing documentation for hearings.
• Handle administrative tasks including filing documents electronically or physically within deadlines.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
• Support legal team with general administrative duties to ensure smooth workflow.
