Job summary

Lazorpoint is seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer to assist clients primarily remotely with some onsite support in Cleveland, OH. You will troubleshoot, communicate clearly with users, and document issues to ensure timely resolutions.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of experience with Microsoft platforms, basic networking, and virtualization. A strong service mindset, teamwork, and willingness to travel locally are important as you support clients across the region.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years relevant professional or internship experience with Microsoft platforms (Windows Server, Exchange, AD, SQL Server, Office 365).
• Basic networking knowledge (switching, routers, DNS, TCP/IP).
• Virtualization and cloud support knowledge across platforms and products.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with client users/end users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve client service requests with appropriate follow-up.
• Support clients by performing onsite and remote preventive maintenance on servers, end user devices, and network equipment.
• Test and install hardware and software.
• Stage new hardware in preparation for deployment into production environments.
• Proactively monitor client equipment for failures.
• Expeditiously answer user requests.
• Document common client issues.
• Work with team members and mentor as needed for internship program.
• Local travel is required.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
