Job summary

Lazorpoint, part of Lyra Technology Group, is seeking an IT Project Engineer to join our Cleveland, Ohio team in a fully onsite role. You will design, lead, and deliver complex IT projects for clients, working closely with internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of MSP project delivery, strong Microsoft platform experience, and the ability to independently drive projects from scoping to delivery, with a focus on client service and technical excellence.

Qualifications

5+ years MSP project delivery experience.

Responsibilities

Consult with clients to assess requirements and propose sound IT solutions.
Lead small project teams or act as a senior engineer in larger engagements.
Manage and deliver projects across Microsoft platforms, cloud, virtualization, networking, storage, backup and security.
Mentor junior team members and raise the technical bar across the team.
Conduct IT environment discovery and assessments for clients.
Lead infrastructure projects tied to mergers, new locations, and cloud migrations (Microsoft 365).
Design and implement centralized computing solutions.
Architect and deploy server virtualization and data center solutions.
Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions meeting client continuity needs.
Travel locally to client sites as needed.
