Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Commissioning Lead to oversee ANZ region project delivery. You will lead a team of project commissioners, drive commissioning plans, safety, and performance, and partner with Field Operations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will remain on-site during critical tests, travel between projects, and may attend the Melbourne office occasionally. This role requires strong leadership, EPC coordination, and hands-on technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years in wind turbine commissioning with a track record of leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Commissioners across multiple projects with training and mentorship.
• Collaborate with Field Ops Leader and Project teams to develop detailed commissioning plans, schedules, and resource strategies.
• Conduct site assessments to identify challenges and optimize commissioning processes and turbine access.
• Oversee/monitor commissioning of WTGs, ensuring GE specifications and safety protocols are met.
• Perform quality control inspections and take corrective actions as needed.
• Support teams to troubleshoot technical issues and provide real-time solutions to minimize downtime.
• Monitor adherence to safety protocols and KPIs; maintain documentation for commissioning activities.
