Job summary

LINC Education seeks experienced online educators to independently facilitate the Masters of Teaching-Primary (Online) program for Victoria University Online. The role requires strong knowledge of biological sciences and scientific literacy, and involves guiding 25–30 undergraduates, plus 1:1 tutoring and assessment feedback.

Ideal candidates hold a doctoral or master’s in teaching or related field, have 5 years of relevant experience, and are proficient in English.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or Master’s in Teaching or related field, or equivalent accreditation.
• 5 years of relevant primary school teaching, research and/or professional experience in last 10 years; 3+ years university teaching preferred.
• Fluent in English; excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a working laptop and high-speed internet (>10 Mbps).

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter guidance to groups of 25–30 undergraduate online students.
• Support in learning skills like academic writing, research and time management.
• Conduct 1:1 and small group tutoring sessions.
• Guide on relevant reference material and resources.
• Provide assessment marking with long-form feedback.
• Moderate discussion forums and provide proactive student support.
