Job summary

LINC Education, an international education services provider, invites experienced online educators to join as independent contractors to support Victoria University Online's Masters of Teaching-Primary. You will facilitate online sessions for 25-30 undergraduate online students, applying Victorian Curriculum across Years 7–10 and employing inclusive teaching strategies.

The role is part-time (15-20 hours weekly) with weekend scheduling, allows remote work from convenient location, offers

Qualifications

• Doctoral qualification or Master's degree in Teaching and/or the relevant discipline area, or equivalent accreditation and standing.
• 5 years of relevant primary/secondary school teaching, research and/or professional experience in the last 5 years.
• Knowledge and understanding of teacher education policies and practices.
• Valid Teacher’s Registration in Australia (VIT Preferred), but QCT, NSW acceptable
• Empathetic, ambitious, warm and outgoing personality willing to work with diverse cultures.
• Proficient in English; excellent oral and written communication
• Must possess a working laptop and access to high-speed stable internet
• Ability to learn and use platforms for interacting with students, including LMS and LINCtrac training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Subject matter guidance to a group of 25-30 undergraduate online students
• Support learning skills like academic writing, research and time management
• 1:1 and small group tutoring sessions
• Guidance on relevant reference material
• Assessment marking with long-form feedback
• Management of discussion forums
• Proactive, prompt and personalised support to student queries and issues
