Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking an adjunct faculty member to deliver nursing courses remotely, with emphasis on online teaching excellence and alignment to our core values of Passion, Excellence, Adaptability, Accountability, and Integrity.

The role focuses on didactic and clinical instruction, student assessment, and collaboration with Course Lead Faculty to support student success and progression in the nursing program.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree is required; if not in nursing, a nursing bachelor’s plus graduate degree in a related field is needed.
• Experience teaching in a registered nursing program is preferred.
• Ability to teach online and to adapt to virtual classroom tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instruction that aligns with Arizona College of Nursing values.
• Develop, deliver, and assess didactic and clinical content for courses.
• Create learner-centered environments to address current nursing issues.
• Assess student learning with diverse tools and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with Course Lead Faculty on student success plans.
• Participate in academic advisement and campus meetings as applicable.
