Job summary

Guideway Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our remote triage team. This RN will deliver high-quality assessment, guidance, and care coordination to patients via phone and secure messaging, from a private, HIPAA-compliant home workspace.

The role requires a BSN, compact-state RN license, at least 5 years of direct patient care, and oncology experience. Remote work from home with a consistent schedule and strong clinical judgment are essential.

Qualifications

Active, unencumbered RN license in a compact licensure state; BSN required.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience across varied direct patient care settings including ED, L&D, CCU.
Oncology experience required; OCN preferred.
Prior remote RN triage or telephone-based care delivery experience preferred.
Strong clinical proficiency with critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication with empathy and clinical clarity.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough clinical assessments and triage patients per established protocols.
Respond to patient inquiries via inbound/outbound calls and secure messaging portals.
Provide appropriate care recommendations or escalate concerns to the provider or care team.
Document assessments and care coordination in EMRs with accuracy.
Support administrative patient-care duties including documentation and onboarding.
