Job summary

Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to grow our patient-focused oncology portfolio across the Memphis, Tennessee territory, including Jackson, Mississippi. This field-based role requires travel to visit customers, educate stakeholders, and drive sales goals within oncology channels.

You will collaborate with the Oncology Customer Team Leader and other specialists, analyze market patterns, build relationships, and deliver patient-centered solutions while adhering to company

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of sales experience or equivalent experience.
• Oncology experience strongly preferred (sales or clinical).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (10–15% overnight).
• Reside in or near the district.

Responsibilities

• Hit or exceed sales goals within the geography.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and understand practice needs.
• Communicate patient-centered value of oncology products.
• Understand tumor types, treatment options, and care pathways.
• Analyze market patterns and channel dynamics (GPOs, wholesalers, specialty pharmacies).
• Collaborate with the Oncology Customer Team Leader and cross-functional teams.
