Job summary

Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to join our field-based team covering the Memphis, TN territory, with included work in Jackson, MS. You will educate clinicians on our oncology portfolio and strive to meet or exceed sales goals through a patient-centered, data-driven approach.

Role requires a bachelor's degree with sales experience or equivalent healthcare experience, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience or equivalent.
• Healthcare/oncology field experience preferred (not necessarily sales).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals for the assigned geography.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand practice structure and needs.
• Communicate the value of Merck Oncology products to clinicians and payers.
• Analyze market trends and accounts to inform short- and long-term plans.
