Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to drive growth in the Lexington, KY territory. You will engage with customers, educate stakeholders, and work to meet or exceed sales goals while navigating the oncology landscape.

The role requires travel to visits, meetings, and conferences, with a remote-friendly arrangement and a focus on patient-centered messaging across our oncology portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of sales experience or a high school diploma with 8+ years of equivalent experience.
• Healthcare/scientific field experience in oncology preferred (pharma/biotech/medical devices).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel; overnight travel 10–15%.
• Reside in or near the district.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed assigned sales goals for the geography.
• Educate key stakeholders about oncology products and build relationships.
• Understand practice structure, business model, and key influencers to uncover needs.
• Analyze market trends and patterns in multiple drug distribution channels.
• Collaborate with the Oncology Customer Team Leader and district manager on plans.
