Job summary

Color is redefining cancer care by delivering physician-led, multidisciplinary oncology services remotely across the United States. This role centers on a dedicated oncology registered nurse who designs and guides remote clinic care, prioritizing patient advocacy and high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, an active RN license with NLC multi-state eligibility, 7+ years in nursing with at least 5 years in oncology, and oncology-specific certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Unrestricted active RN license with eligibility for additional state licenses; NLC multi-state license required.
• Minimum of 7 years nursing experience, 5+ years in oncology; outpatient experience preferred.
• Oncology certifications such as OCN, AOCN, AOCNS, or CCM required.
• Commitment to removing barriers and improving care quality.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with empathy and active listening.
• Comfort with technology, video visits, EHRs; English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for cancer patients and caregivers, conducting assessments.
• Collaborate with oncologists, primary care, survivorship, genetic counselors, and supports teams.
• Provide compassionate care and build trust-based patient relationships.
• Address clinical needs via phone, async messaging, and video; manage symptoms and referrals.
• Coordinate with Care Advocates for non-clinical support and planning for in-person visits.
• Help develop clinical protocols and best practices with Color Care Team.
• Participate in care team sessions to monitor progress and update plans.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient encounters.
