Job summary

Merck is seeking a Learning Consultant to partner with business leaders, shaping learning strategy and plans to drive measurable outcomes. You will design and deploy learning solutions, collect data, and refine programs across oncology products and customer-facing audiences.

You will manage assets and utilize LMS tools, dashboards, and analytics to demonstrate impact, coordinating with cross-functional teams to stay aligned with evolving goals and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, or currently in pursuit of degree completion, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience (4 years with Master’s degree)
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Learning Partners and business stakeholders to identify performance needs and recommend learning solutions that align with commercial priorities.
• Deploy and manage learning curricula, communications, and resources across multiple oncology products and customer-facing audiences.
• Develop, maintain, and organize learning assets, templates, and program tracking tools using platforms such as Excel, internal planning platforms and learning management systems.
• Evaluate learner engagement and program effectiveness through standardized reporting, dashboards, and analytics, using insights to inform improvement.
• Collaborate with Training teams to support reinforcement activities, monitor learning adoption, and measure business impact.
• Implement knowledge reinforcement strategies, assessments, and learning interventions that improve retention and on-the-job application.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure learning initiatives remain aligned with evolving organizational goals and customer needs.
