Job summary

Merck is seeking a Learning Consultant to partner with business leadership to shape learning strategies and develop diversified programs for talent, capability, and leadership development. You will measure impact with data-driven insights and implement assessments to boost retention and on-the-job application.

You will deploy curricula across oncology products, manage assets and dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to stay aligned with evolving business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of related experience (4 years with Master’s).
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Learning Partners and business stakeholders to identify performance needs and recommend learning solutions that align with commercial priorities.
• Deploy and manage learning curricula, communications, and resources across multiple oncology products and customer-facing audiences.
• Develop, maintain, and organize learning assets, templates, and program tracking tools using platforms such as Excel, internal planning platforms and learning management systems.
• Evaluate learner engagement and program effectiveness through standardized reporting, dashboards, and analytics, using insights to inform improvement.
• Collaborate with Training teams to support reinforcement activities, monitor learning adoption, and measure business impact.
• Implement knowledge reinforcement strategies, assessments, and learning interventions that improve retention and on-the-job application.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure learning initiatives remain aligned with evolving organizational goals and customer needs.
